The Driskills cashed in what was the dream season. Following a franchise high 110 regular season wins, the Driskills put the cherry on top of the cake by beating the Mendozas and taking home the World Series hardware. The Mendozas, on the other hand, will be disappointed to go home without the championship after another stellar season that saw them fall short in the World Series.
For infamy, one of the Gehrig's original team owners, this marks his first Gehrig World Series title.
This marks the fifth season in a row that the World Series hardware has gone to the AL, who now lead the all time series 13 championships to 7 over the NL.
The only two Divisions that have yet to claim a World Series are the AL and NL West.
Congratulations to infamy and the Driskills management on a wonderful season.
