100 Win Seasons: Update

Season 14 saw the Schrutes become the 6th team to win the World Series after posting a 100+ win season.

Season 14 Wrapup

The Scranton Schrutes are back atop the Gehrig world after finishing up another stellar season by defeating the San Juan Myrmidons in 6 games. The Series got off to a wild start with the Schrutes, courtesy of Damon Prinz, throwing a no hitter in Game 1. Game 2 saw more of the same with the Myrmidons being shut out. But doontristy's boys made it a series with a 3-hit shutout in Game 3. However, mookie79's boys were too much and after taking a commanding 3-1 game lead, the Schrutes closed the deal in Game 6.

This is the Schrutes second WS title, and only the first back-to-back WS titles for the AL since Season 5. It was a nice ending to a season that saw the Schrutes win 109 games and claim the #1 seed in the AL.

Congrats to the Schrutes and their management on a great season.
